Passport. Your passport must be signed and has at leat two empty pages for visa and valid for more than 6 months.

Two (2) photo is required. Photo must be 2×2, color with a plain light or white background and show a full front view of face.

Airline ticket. Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, itinerary or e-ticket.

Purpose of your visit. A letter addressed to the Embassy of Afghanistan detailing the purpose of your visit and details of your intended activities in Afghanistan during your visit.

Former Afghan citizens. U.S. Passport holders who were formerly Afghanistan citizens may enter Afghanistan for a short stay, without a visa The period of stay is determined by Immigration Authorities upon arrival.

Business Letter. The letter must explain all the following:

• Nature of business to be performed

• Name and address of reference to be visited

• This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required

• Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit

• The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.
