Passport

• Your passport must be signed and has at leat two empty pages for visa and valid for more than 6 months.

Photo

• One (1) is required. Photo must be 2×2, color with a plain light or white background and show a full front view of face.

Airline ticket

• Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, itinerary or e-ticket.

Hotel comfirmation

• If you are staying in a hotel(s) provide copies of confirmed hotel confirmations.

Loose Leaf Visa

• The Embassy of Vietnam offers a loose leaf visa, a process that permits you to apply for the visa without submitting your actual passport to the Consulate.

  • You must supply two passport photos.
  • you must submit a photocopy of your passport information page instead of your actual passport.

Letter of acceptance

• A copy of your letter of acceptance from the school you will be attending in Vietnam.

Visa Approval Notice

• If you have received a visa pre-approval notice from the Vietnamese school, please included the notice with your documents.
• A visa pre-approval notice is not required to apply.

Diplomate Letter

• Visa Cover Letter issued by U.S. Department of State.

• Letter must explaining the purpose of travel, dates of the trip, and contact person in Vietnam.
